WHAT IS
CERAMIC COATING?
Ceramic coating is a chemical solution that is applied to a vehicle’s exterior surface for protection. As a liquid polymer it chemically bonds with your car’s paint to create a protective layer that does not break down or wash away.
It’s applied by hand and does not need to be applied repeatedly every few months as you would do with a new coat of wax.
Ceramic coating adds a layer of protection for any car owner while keeping their vehicle looking pristine! It’s easy to clean and can significantly increase the value of your vehicle.

With ceramic coating, your car’s exterior is more resilient against external elements. It reduces your vulnerability to scratches, fading, staining, etching, and other damage caused by these elements.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF CERAMIC COATING?
There are several benefits to applying ceramic coating to your car’s exterior to serve as a line of defense for your car’s paint.
Adds gloss and depth. Ceramic coating brings the best out of your car’s original paint job by enhancing the reflective properties in the paint and clear coat of your vehicle.
Protects your paint. The exterior ceramic coating is there to take the beating. If any damage is caused, such as scratching, it’s removed by polishing the ceramic coat. The vehicle’s factory paint is untouched.
Hydrophobic quality. Water will bead on the surface of your car and slide right off when you’ve applied ceramic coating. Mud, grime, and other contaminants can’t bond to your vehicle’s paint, making it much easier to remove. Cleaning your car has never been so easy!
Prevents fading. Ceramic coating protects a vehicle’s paint from ultraviolet rays that cause fading and a dull appearance. Without it, paint will begin to oxidize when it’s frequently exposed to the sun.
Chemically resistant. Vehicles with ceramic coating are more resistant to staining and etching. It makes it harder for naturally acidic contaminants to bond with the paint or clear coat. These potential contaminants exist in air pollution.
CERAMIC COATING AFTERCARE
Once ceramic coating is applied to your vehicle it needs to cure and harden. How you choose to clean your car after ceramic coating will directly impact its protective properties.

FAQ
Is ceramic coating the same as paint protection film?
While paint protection film and ceramic coating both protect and preserve a vehicle’s paint, they are not the same thing. Paint protection film is thicker and has a self-healing chemical composition. It absorbs chips, scratches, and other blemishes without permanent damage.
Ceramic coating does not self-heal, but it does keep contaminants off of paint, make the car easier to clean, enhance gloss, and create a stellar hydrophobic surface.

Will ceramic coating damage the existing paint?
No. It is specifically engineered to never damage your vehicle’s paint or clear coat. Its purpose is to protect your paint and resist blemishes.

If my car just got a fresh coat of paint, how long do I need to wait before getting ceramic coating?
60-90 days.

Can I wax my car after ceramic coating is applied?
It's not recommended, and not necessary! Make sure you stay away from products containing carnauba wax if you want to use sealants.
