OUR STORY
When I bought my first car at 18 I was just like any other guy — I loved washing and detailing it because I wanted my car to look good, and I wanted to feel good driving it.
It started as a hobby, but I slowly started to fall in love with car detailing. I was watching YouTube videos every day about washing and waxing, and I joined a car detailing Facebook group to gather information and learn as much as I could. I practiced my craft on my friends and family’s cars, and in 2017 I joined a polishing and buffing class at a local San Diego detail supply store, Detail Garage.
I realized the driving experience is totally different with a freshly detailed car and I wanted to share this feeling with other car owners. In 2018 I started my first auto detailing company, “Nate’s Auto Detailing”.
In 2019 I wanted to perfect my craft even more, so I started taking classes at Detailing Success. I was trained by Renny Doyle, a master-level detailer who is in both the automotive and private jet/corporate jet industries. He also details Air Force One.
At Detailing Success I worked my way up and became a Double Black Renny Doyle Collection Certified Technician and Inspiration Ceramic Coating Certified Application Technician. These lead me to an opportunity I could not pass up — a job at one of the best high-end automotive detailing businesses in San Diego, Elite Finish. It was here that I perfected my skills working on luxury car brands like Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Aston Martin, and Porsche, among others.
After yet another detailing class, I became an IGL Ceramic Coating installer. It was soon after that I realized that detailing cars isn’t just a hobby or a job — it’s my passion.
And in 2020, Passion Driven Automotive was born.
Passion Driven Automotive is a mobile car detailing company that specializes in the highest quality of detail work in a timely manner. Our goal is to provide an unparalleled service experience with excellent customer satisfaction. From basic jobs like cleaning carpets or interior windows to more complex jobs such as buffing out scratches on paintwork or ceramic coating, we do it all.
